Worldwide Talents from Indonesia, Thailand, Laos, China and Malaysia, showcased their creative work in the form of Product design, Graphic design, Spatial design, Digital & Animation and Fashion design.

This event is intended to promote art, heritage and cultural exchange in design amongst the ASEAN-CHINA countries in the field of creativity and innovation. The promotion of the diversity of ASEAN-CHINA countries in its landscape, people, heritage and culture will be brought to fore in the form of cross-cultural exchanges and dialogue and stimulate economic growth and attract more regional and international visitors. This activity in the form of design in print, digital and structure will convey strengthening of friendship and understanding between Malaysia and other ASEAN-CHINA countries.

Organizers
Design Asia Collective and Asia Design Week collaborate to organize ASEAN-CHINA DESIGN CONVERGENCE Competition and Exhibition. 

With existing members from Malaysia, China, Indonesia and other Asian Countries, we are inviting participation from ASEAN Countries consisting of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Exhibition Theme: Synthesis

The term ‘Synthesis’ is a process of combining different ideas, elements or components to form a unified whole. It involves merging diverse or contrasting aspects to create something new, cohesive and meaningful. 

900 submissions of works were received from ASEAN/China nations under the categories of Product Design, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Digital and Spatial Design.
